Friends of Boyne District Library

Who are the Friends?

“Friends of the BDL” support the idea that our library is a valuable community asset that needs nourishment to help foster the educational aspirations of young children, youth, and adults. Friends groups are citizens who use their collective powers to do everything from running book sales, assisting the library board and staff with special events, to purchasing special technology, promoting literacy, and much more!

Announcing a New Dues Schedule: To be more efficient, we are changing our membership mailing policy. Rather than mailing renewals monthly, we are now doing one mass mailing every May. If you have already paid your 2019 dues, please disregard this notice. You can renew your Friends’ membership in May 2020. To those who have yet to renew for 2019, please stop by the library and come to the circulation desk upstairs.
