Miss Myrtle White (later Helrigel) was librarian at the school before they built the public library. She served from 1918 to at least April 1920. Miss Thelma Stevens served from probably August of 1920 to 1923. She was authorized to register our library with the State Library (we have the certificate #112) Mrs. Lena Cook served from 1923 to 1961. Mrs. Ruth Handy was the first librarian after the reopening of the library, 1963 and served to May 1966. Mrs Nancy Holland served as an interim librarian from May to November 1966, Lucille Westergard now McKown. She served from approx. October of 1966 to October of 1968. Janet Waldner served from October 1966 until April 1996. Nannette Miller started Nov 1, 1996 and is the current librarian.
